Beta's media clients rely on Terry when they need to create custom studies or conduct focus groups. Her media expertise has been developed over more than 20 years of working for both media and research companies. Her deep experience includes work with broadcast networks, cable networks, cable systems and radio. Her focus group and qualitative research practice reaches beyond media to include a range of industries, particularly healthcare and food.
Terry's start in media came early; while still in college, she held a multi-faceted position at a San Francisco radio station that had her doing everything from ratings analysis to news writing. Prior to joining Beta, Terry was Vice President of Client Services for AGB Television Research. She previously held a similar role at Norman Hecht Research. In addition, Terry spent several years as a regional sales manager for American Movie Classics.
Terry holds a B.A. in Business Administration from San Francisco State University and also studied at the University of California at Berkeley. She is an active member of her community's emergency response team, works with several local organizations that promote voter registration and participation in the political process and serves on the alumni board of Holy Trinity High School. Terry and her husband live on Long Island. They have four children.
