Jerome Kossoff
Founder
Jerome began his career at Alfred Politz Research after receiving his B.S. in Psychology at Queens College and graduate degree in Industrial Psychology from Michigan State. He then spent the next 2 years working for the research department of Trans World Airlines and later went on to accept a position at Oxtoby-Smith Research. It wasn't until 1970 when Jerome envisioned a full service market research company -- a vision that would become Beta Research Corporation. |

Maxine Kossoff
President
Currently, Maxine Kossoff owns and operates Beta Research Corp. Maxine has been involved in the business since its inception in 1970. She was the company’s first employee and over the years has served in many roles, including Controller, Secretary, and now President.
Maxine assumed the title of President in December 2005, whose responsibilities include management of personnel, signing for loans, approving major purchases, contract signing, and other comprehensive decisions for the company.
Maxine earned her Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University. She majored in Education with minors in English and History.

Jason Gorelkin
Chief Operating Officer
Jason Gorelkin joined Beta Research Corporation in November of 1996. He is currently the Chief Operating Officer. As COO, Jason oversees all aspects of Beta's day-to-day sales, marketing and administrative functions. Jason is also President of BetaResearch.com, a division of Beta Research devoted entirely to online research, which he launched in February of 2000.
He works closely with various media clients including Advertising Age, American Express Publishing, American Lawyer Media, Forbes, Financial Times, Harvard Business Review, Institutional Investor, Newsweek, Thomson Media and Time. Prior to his current position Jason held the titles of Vice President of Operations and Vice President of MIS.
Previously, beginning in June of 1994, he worked as an Industrial Engineer for Overnite Transportation Company, a subsidiary of Union Pacific. Jason earned his Bachelor of Science from the Pennsylvania State University in 1993. He majored in Industrial Engineering with a minor in Economics. |

Amy Gorelkin
Chief Executive Officer
Amy Gorelkin holds the title of CEO and currently owns and operates the company. Amy has been with Beta Research since February of 1995. At that time, she held the title of Manager of Client Services. Later that year, she earned the position of SAM Project Director, handling all of Beta’s Subscriber Advertising Measurement studies. From May of 1999 to 2006, Amy watched her children grow while helping in the business in various capacities. During those years, she would be involved in macro decisions for the business, filling in for vacationing project directors, proofing of reports and questionnaires, coding of surveys, and other miscellaneous clerical work.
Since 2006, Amy continues to grow into her new role of CEO for the company. In this capacity, she works closely with the President and COO of the company. Jointly, they oversee all of Beta’s day-to-day sales, marketing, and administrative functions. They meet on a monthly basis to make key decisions and to extend their vision for the company.
Amy earned her Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University in 1994. She majored in Human Ecology. |

Manny Mallo
Executive VP, Operations
Manny Mallo has over 30 years of experience in market research. He has been with Beta Research Corporation since September 1990, and has served as Executive VP of Operations since 1996. Prior to his current position Manny held the title of Vice President.
Previously, beginning in 1986, he was owner and President of J.T.J. Data Services. Earlier in his career, Manny spent twenty years with a wide variety of full service market research companies. |

Gail Disimile
Executive Vice President Sales
and Marketing
Gail has been employed at Beta Research Corporation for the past 20 years and a member of its sales staff for the past 15 years. Prior to this, Gail worked in a sales capacity for local area newspapers on Long Island, New York.
Gail's responsibilities include new business development as well as maintaining existing client relationships. A few of her clients include AARP, Allergan, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Unilever, and International Masters Publishers. |

Paul DiLillo

Paul DiLillo has been a member of Beta Research Corporation for 25 years. He is currently Executive Vice President, Client Services.
Some of Paul's media clients include; The Wall Street Journal, Time Warner, Bloomberg BusinessWeek, The New York Times, and USA Weekend.
Paul's entire career has been in the market research industry. |

Andrew Klein
President, Cable TV Division
Andy Klein has been President of Beta's Cable Television division since March of 1989.
Andy designs and supervises several syndicated studies for the Cable Television industry including:
- Cable Subscriber Evaluation Study
- Cable Network Interest Study
- Brand Identity Study
- Satellite Dish Subscriber Study
- Digital Cable Subscriber Study
- Cable Operator Carriage Study
- Cable Operator Evaluation Study
- Ad Executive Study
Beta cable network studies are purchased by over 40 cable networks as well as by MSO's and major media companies. The Beta Cable Studies have received numerous articles in cable trade publications. Andy and Beta's Cable Television Division also conduct custom studies and focus groups.
Andy has over 30 years of experience in cable and television research. Prior to joining Beta in 1989, Andy was Vice President of Research for Rainbow Media, a company for which he later was a Research Consultant. Andy also worked for five years in the custom market research department of The Arbitron Company. Andy has an M.A. in Communications Research. |

Terry McNiff
VP Cable Division
Terry McNiff has been Vice President of the Cable Television Division since January of 1994. Terry is responsible for all custom studies, focus groups and new business development for the cable television division. Terry has over 20 years of experience in sales, marketing and research within the media industry. Terry has conducted focus groups for a wide variety of media clients, including broadcast networks, cable networks, cable systems and radio. Prior to joining Beta, Terry was Vice President of Client Services for AGB Television Research, Vice President of Client Services for Norman Hecht Research and Regional Sales Manager for American Movie Classics. |

David March
Vice President of Sales
David March has over 17 years of publishing experience. As Group Publisher of CMPMedica’s Cliggott Publishing Group, he was responsible for managing the Consultant franchise. During the course of his tenure at Cliggott, he had a track record of increasing market share, developing new business ideas and team building. During that time he gained extensive experience in sales and marketing, developing business plans, budgeting and managing P&L responsibilities. This was highlighted, as he expanded the business by launching Consultant Clinician's Edition, Consultant for Pediatricians and ConsultantLive.com, as well as other various single and limited sponsorship publications. This enabled him to expand his knowledge in print and on-line media while growing revenue and profit margins.
He began his career in market research, having worked for Beta Research from 1983 to 1989. Starting as a computer programmer, he quickly gravitated towards client services. He then moved into publishing in the beginning of 1990.
David was the 2008 President of the Association of Medical Media (AMM), working closely with the American Business Media association (ABM). He has also been a member of the Healthcare Marketing & Communications Council, serving as chairman of the HMC News committee for 5 years.
David earned his bachelor's degree in business management at Ithaca College. He has also successfully completed the Management Development program at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
He resides in Ramsey, New Jersey, with his three sons and wife. |
