F. Rotation:
Question choices can be rotated to guard against bias caused by the sequence of choices.

G. Question Randomization:
You can use this method when there are too many questions to ask of a single respondent. It's equivalent to developing a different version of the questionnaire for each person. When there are too many questions to ask in a single survey, this is a highly effective method for gathering more information.

H. Status Indicator:
With longer surveys, respondents can periodically be prompted to continue answering, increasing the ultimate response rate.

  • Prompts can be built into each question or inserted periodically to keep respondents from stopping.
  • Status indicators can be based on time or the number of questions in the survey.

I. Validation/Error Checking:
