BETA RESEARCH CORPORATION PROMOTES JASON GORELKIN TO CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER ... FOUNDER JERRY KOSSOFF TAKES POST OF CHAIRMAN

New York, December 1, 2004:
       Syosset, NY – December 1, 2004: Jerry Kossoff, CEO of Beta Research Corporation announced today that he will take on the new role of company Chairman. Replacing him as CEO will be Jason Gorelkin, currently the firm’s Vice President of Operations.

       In discussing the changes, Kossoff stated that “This shift of responsibilities enables me to concentrate on our company’s strategic approaches rather than day-to-day activities. For 35 years, the strategic part of our business has always been the one I enjoyed most ... now I can focus on it.”

       Kossoff pointed to Gorelkin’s achievements -- “Jason’s earned his new position. Since joining us in 1998, he’s helped us establish more sophisticated operations, he’s built our BetaResearch.com business, he’s shaped our new marketing platform, and he’s provided clients with innovative solutions.        In his role as CEO, Gorelkin will be responsible not only for the firm’s execution of research services, but for working with clients to serve their needs even better.
